The daffodils may be over, but woodlands in the parish are vivid with a dense carpet of bluebells. By the river's edge, the Loddon Lily is also in bloom. Naturalists are concerned that the native species of bluebell may be threatened by the more invasive Spanish variety which is better suited to changed weather conditions caused by global warming.
